What is Mzansi Mana?
Mzansi Mana is a digital publishing platform and magazine that showcases original serialized stories, one-shots, and artwork under the banner of Mana. We publish issues digitally, host chapters online, and provide a space for creators to share their stories with the world.
What is “Mana”?
Mana is our name for the unique storytelling style and creative movement we’re building. It’s not comics or manga — it’s Mana. A new format that represents originality, diversity, and freedom in storytelling.
How can I browse your mana series?
Visit the “Featured” or “Ranking” section, or choose a mana directly from the homepage. From there, you can explore stories, view creator details, and read chapters directly on the site.
Do I need an account to read mana?
No — you can read mana freely without an account.
However, creating an account allows you to follow creators and save your favourite series to read when you come back.
Are your mana free to read?
All mana available on our website are free to read.
However, you’ll need to purchase the magazine issues through Amazon eBooks or other third-party publishing platforms if you wish to read the full digital magazine editions.
Can I read mana offline?
No, you cannot read our mana offline — an internet connection is required to access our site.
Downloaded eBooks cannot be stored offline, but any digital issue you purchase will always remain available to you through the platform where it was bought.
How do I create an account?
- Click Sign Up / Create Account on the website.
- Enter your email, choose a username, and create a password.
- Once you’ve signed up, you can immediately access your account — no verification link is needed.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
If you forget your password, contact Mzansi Mana at mzansimana@gmail.com and request a password reset.
Please note: requests may take up to two weeks to process depending on support volume.
Can I change my username or email?
If you want to change your username or email, contact Mzansi Mana at mzansimana@gmail.com and request a username reset.
(Email changes are not currently supported through the site; contact us if needed.)
Can I delete my account?
No. Accounts cannot be deleted once created.
How do I stay logged in?
The website will automatically keep you signed in unless you log in from another device or clear your browser data.
How can I submit my manga to Mzansi Mana?
Visit the Submission Portal on our website.
Prepare a synopsis, samples of your work, and a brief introduction about yourself, then fill in the submission form. Our editorial team will review your entry and contact you if it’s selected.
What file formats are accepted for submissions?
We currently accept only the following formats:
- PNG
- JPG / JPEG
Samples should not exceed 50MB in total file size.
Can AI-generated content be submitted?
No. AI-generated or AI-assisted content is strictly prohibited.
Any submission found using AI will be ignored and rejected immediately.
How long does it take to review a submission?
Due to our high schedules and large submission volume, reviews may take up to 60 days.
You’ll be notified by email if your submission is selected or requires additional details.
Who owns the rights to the mana I submit?
All works remain the property of their creators.
Mzansi Mana does not claim ownership or take credit for the creator’s work. We simply provide the platform for creators to share and publish their stories.
Why isn’t my mana loading?
Try the following steps:
- Refresh the page.
- Clear your browser cache.
- Try a different browser or device.
- Check your internet connection.
If the issue continues, report it to us (see question 18).
How do I report a bug or error on the website?

- A short description of the problem
- Screenshots or recordings (if possible)
- The device, browser, and time of the issue
Our team will investigate and respond as soon as possible.
Is Mzansi Mana mobile-friendly?
Yes — the site is fully optimized for mobile and tablet browsing. All mana can be read comfortably on smaller screens.
